I have been lucky enough to visit Galicia in NW Spain and drink Albarino in a couple of good restaurants. I think it is a fantastic white – not so “sweet” as Chardonnay and sharper than Viognier, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a change. It is on my shopping list for my next visit to Majestic Aberdeen this week-end.
