This is a dense, fruity wine with good structure and firm tannins. Displaying aromas of cassis, dried plum and violets with underlying notes of spicy cedar and liquorice. From the forward drinking 2004 vintage, this is a joy now but has the benefit of also being an excellent cellar candidate for those who are patient.
