Make Autumn Red Mixed Case
Wine: Marques de Caceres, Crianza
Region: Rioja
Country: Spain
Vintage: 2008

Appearance
Colour: Very dark, opaque wine but with some clarity at the edges showing the age.

Nose
Intensity: Quite a gentle nose, not at all strong.
Aromas: Raspberry Ruffle chocolates! Cherry and some herby notes.

Taste
Body: Lighter than expected but beautifully smooth and soft.
Tastes like: Cherries,dark chocolate and hints of vanilla from the oak.
Length: Quite short which was a little disappointing but not enough to distract from the flavour.
Moreishness: This wine is easy to drink, an excellent ‘everyday’ drinker.

Conclusion
Perfect food match? Hams and simple cold meats, roast dinners.
Film you’d drink this wine with? Something smooth like James Bond!
