Introducing the Fine Wine Plan

If, like me, you’ve always had a hankering to start your own small collection of fine wines, but you lack the cellar (or perhaps the knowhow) to do so, the Majestic Fine Wine Plan is for you.

It’s managed by our en primeur specialist, Lay & Wheeler, so members benefit from unsurpassed knowledge of the best fine wines to lay down, from brilliant, sought-after growers. And storage is taken care of at Vinothèque, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to professional storage of fine wine, for a very reasonable annual fee.

To help get your new wine collection off to a good start, we’ll give new subscribers a fantastic free six bottle case of Croix de Beaucaillou 2009, the second wine of top St-Julien property Ducru-Beaucaillou from the heavily sought-after 2009 vintage.

With all the excitement that’s building around Bordeaux 2010, now is a great time to start your plan. I’m already a member of the plan; if you’re interested in joining me, find out more at majestic.co.uk/finewineplan.

That was a great video. I really like what you guys do. With the recent BBC study saying most people can’t taste the difference between expensive and cheap wine, do you feel that some education in quality wines is growing in importance? I think most people can’t tell the difference because they haven’t learned about, or had really good wines before.

Thanks, glad you liked the video! We feel very passionately about educating our customers in appreciating [all] wine but hope that the Fine Wine Plan will help for higher end wines.
