We caught up with Adrien from one of your favourite wine producers in France, Georges-Duboeuf. Explore his favourite places to eat, sleep, drink, shop and see in Beaujolais. Make sure they’re on your list to visit!
La Terrasse du Beaujolais is certainly one of my favourite place I like to go on weekends with my family. While savouring some local dishes you’ll enjoy the panoramic view of Beaujolais… sometimes you can even see Mont Blanc!
During summer it’s always a pleasure to have an aperitif or lunch at Côté Sânoe near the river.
In 1993 my grandfather opened a one of kind museum where you’ll be able to learn more about the Beaujolais and its wines. Some hard to find domains that we’ve selected are available at the shop.
I love to go near the Chappelle de la Madonne on top of the Fleurie A.O.C. It’s 10 minutes away from our winery and you can see the famous Crus du Beaujolais such as Fleurie, Morgon, Brouilly…
When I’m in the Mâconnais area I enjoy a hike on the top of the well-known roche de Solutré. You’ll need one hour to reach the summit. It’s in the photo behind me at the top of this blog.
