New Jacob’s Creek Sparkling Trilogy plus WIN 12 bottles

Who doesn’t like the sound of corks popping on New Year’s Eve? OK, maybe the dog, but these new Aussie sparklers are definitely worth a pop at your next party.

Here’s Jacob’s Creek Chief Winemaker Bernard Hickin introducing the wines to Majestic.

Trilogy Cuvée Brut NV, Australia New!
Introductory Offer! £9.99
Origin: Each of the Champagne grape varieties is vinified separately before being carefully blended together. Secondary fermentation in bottle provides the fizz.
Tasting Note: A nose of citrus fruit and redcurrant with notes of fresh breadcrust and yeast. The fine, elegant mousse provides a creamy persistence on the palate.
Food Match: Any and all vol-au-vents.

Trilogy Cuvée Rosé NV, Australia New!
Introductory Offer! £9.99
Origin: A rosé cuvée made by vinifying with minimal skin contact for a delicate colour and subtle red-fruit influence.
Tasting Note: Lively, aromatic fresh strawberry and raspberry nose with a yeasty, biscuity lift. The palate is awash with ripe yet delicate fruit flavour, held together by a creamy texture.
Food Match: Sublime with strawberry cheesecake.

  1. The answer is ‘freshly opened oysters or a light cake dish.’ And, ‘strawberries and cream or a light seafood dish, for example, scallops or prawns.’ Brilliant competition – I’ll be bragging to all my mates if I win this!

  2. Trilogy Brut – freshly opened oysters or at the end of a meal with a light cake dish (not too sweet).
Trilogy Rose – strawberries and cream or any light cake dish or light seafood dishes for example scallops or prawns.

  3. Fresh opened oysters with the Brut Bernard, followed by Strawberries & Cream with the Cuvee Rose – tastes and sounds of summer to go with warm and balmy summer evenings sipping glasses of chilled Trilogy – I will keep on dreaming.
