Bordeaux 2008: Lynch-Bages, Duhart-Milon and Margaux’s Pavillons

By Richard Weaver

More new releases this morning; this campaign is really happening quickly. With Pavillon Rouge and Pavillon Blanc (the second and white wines of Margaux respectively) released today, that leaves Haut-Brion alone among the first growths to dip their toe in the water.

First among today’s releases is Duhart-Milon, a notable success in 2008, and likely to benefit by association with stablemate Lafite, so we anticipate strong market demand for this wine. We also have Lynch-Bages, for whom the UK market is particularly important. This year’s wine is delicious – you’ll need to beat the Majestic team to this one if you’re interested!

Château Duhart-Milon 2008 Pauillac, 4ème Cru Classé 12 x 75cl Bottles, £275

Pavillon Rouge de Château Margaux 2008 Margaux, Second wine of Margaux 12 x 75cl Bottles, £315
