We’ve got Nick and Kat along with the rest of the sales and buying team from our sister company Lay & Wheeler travelling across Bordeaux this week to uncover what the 2010 vintage has in store for us. The Bordeaux en primeur tasting is really exciting as we can’t wait to see what treats are in store for us when the 2010 campaign is released.
With all the hype of the 2009 vintage it is encouraging to hear that 2010 is another excellent vintage. Follow them on the Lay & Wheeler blog for tales of their journey thus far – it sounds like they are having a fabulous time and yesterday Tweeted:
“Think being a buyer is hard work? Not for Nick and Kat of L&W in a 1955 Austin Healey #bdx10 http://yfrog.com/gysv5bmj“.
The fantastic hospitality at Caronne Ste Gemme certainly seems to be adding an element of fun to their stay in the Medoc! Once they have returned from their en primeur tasting week in Bordeaux and assessed the 2010 vintage they will publish their vintage reports and tasting notes to help guide us in what we should be buying.
