Majestic Wine Calais COVID-19 Update

Following yesterday’s announcement regarding the measures introduced by the French Government, Majestic Calais will no longer be opening our doors to customers for the foreseeable future.

We still have staff on hand to answer any customer queries you may have, so please feel free to call at 01923 298 297 or email us at France@majestic.co.uk directly. If you have orders which are currently placed with Calais which you can no longer access, we have a series of options available to you (including refunds, delayed collection or credit).

Clearly this is an ever-changing situation, but we wanted to make sure we reached out and kept you up to date on what actions we are taking. We will continue to contact you when we have further updates, or timelines for reopening.

Putting the safety of everyone connected with Majestic first and foremost is our number one priority. We are closely following the advice from the government, NHS and Public Health England to ensure we are putting the correct measures in place across the country. 

Meanwhile in the UK, across our nationwide network of stores, our expert staff will continue to recommend great wines and deliver them to customers’ homes via our fleet of over 200 vans. We recognise this is an important service for our customers and have reviewed our procedures and practices to ensure we can continue to provide this for you. 

As per government advice, we would kindly ask that if you are displaying any of the associated symptoms of the virus, you refrain from visiting us. This will help us to protect our staff, and anyone they come into contact with. 

If you are unable to get to one of our stores, we advise emailing your local Majestic directly to order your wines, beers and spirits  and we will deliver it to your home. Our website is still currently able to deliver without disruption and we are continuing to operate our click and collect service should you prefer to use it. 

We are preparing for many eventualities. We are working hard to look after our customers, neighbours, families and friends during this time. We will continue to monitor what is an ever-changing situation and want to assure you we will take the necessary actions to continue to serve you and protect the health and wellbeing of you and our teams.
