It’s been a fantastic year so far with winning awards and all of us at Majestic are delighted to be winners at last night’s prestigious Retail Week Awards. Majestic were crowned Speciality Retailer of the Year and also picked up the award for Customer Service Initiative of the Year for The Wine Course.
The shortlist for Customer Service Initiative included Argos, B&Q, Best Buy, Pets at Home and Tesco. The judges said the course was “a great way of reinforcing customer loyalty and demonstrating the strength of the service culture and product knowledge of its staff.”
The shortlist for Speciality Retailer included The Car Phone Warehouse, Holland & Barrett, Ocado, Pets at Home and Specsavers. The judges said “Majestic’s focus on high service standards and its inspired change of minimum purchase from 12 to six bottles, attracting new shoppers and retaining existing ones during tough trading conditions, have allowed it to continue to thrive despite cut throat competition.”
Given the extremely high calibre of retailers who entered, winning these awards is a major achievement for us and one we are really proud of.
