The launch of The Tasting Club

Very exciting news this week! We’ve just launched The Tasting Club, a personalised events programme, in all stores across the country.

A suite of four events, The Tasting Club takes you on a journey to show what loving wine can do for you – the joy it can bring, the passion it can invoke and the stories it can start. Here’s a quick guide to the different events…

Introduction to Wine

Set off on your journey through wine by meeting the world’s most famous wine styles – we’ll show you what makes them so brilliant, and what to eat with them.
Price: £5 donation to our Charity of The Year (this year it is Headway, the brain injury association)

Find out more about your favourite bottles. From Rhône to Rosé, Craft Beer to Gin, you’ll leave more intimately acquainted with the styles you love.
Price: £10 – £20 (varies by event) – you’ll receive a gift voucher for the same amount to redeem in store

Fine Wine Experience

Experience some utterly dazzling wine, find out why these bottles taste so fantastic and why truly great wine is for any moment.
Price: £20 – you’ll receive a £20 gift voucher to redeem in store

One on One

Come and meet the wine for you. Discover the wines you’re sure to love. We’ll taste a wide selection of classic and innovative bottles, and you’ll leave excited to have met your perfect match.

All the events will be run by the ‘wine gurus’ in your local store. To find out more and sign up for an event, just speak to the team in-store. To check where your local store is, click here

We hope you like the look of The Tasting Club! We commissioned artwork from world-famous illustrator Jean Jullien. We think his style, wit and outlook perfectly aligns with our view on what wine is all about.  My favourite is the One on One image – the chap seeing the light! Which is your favourite?
