What’s In A Label? Our Favourite Wine Labels This Autumn

Pizarras de Otero 2012, Bierzo, Spain. Don’t feed the bears! Yes, that’s a bear’s footprint. Four footprints were found in the highest and best Bierzo vineyards in Galicia and are now the emblem and inspiration for the winery ‘Cuatro Pasos’. Grrrrr.

Panamericana Sauvignon Blanc, Central Valley, Chile. Road trippin’ through Chile you’re going to take Ruta 5, part of the 48,000km PanAmerican Highway. The Ruta 5 road sign marks this wine out – a cool climate Chilean Sauvignon which will get you driving back for more.

Hacienda Zorita Tempranillo, Arribes del Duero, Spain. A beautiful 14th century monastery and vineyard estate in Spain where vines have grown since 1366. Notable guests at the monastery include Columbus! Now you can stay there too in its reincarnation as a luxury wine hotel.
